Project SUCCESS Counselor, Marcelo Maiorano

Please welcome Kennett High School's new Project SUCCESS Counselor, Marcelo Maiorano!

Marcelo Maiorano comes to Project SUCCESS at Kennett with a strong background working with youth in human services. A native of Greater Detroit, Marcelo received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 2009 from Loyola University Chicago. He previously has served as a domestic violence intervention and prevention advocate in Juneau,
Alaska, and as a mental health support worker for youth and families in the Metro West area of Massachusetts. Marcelo has been an engaged member of the MWV community, serving as a volunteer soccer coach, ESSC volunteer, member of the Community Band, and volunteer firefighter since moving here with his young family in 2013.

Marcelo looks forward to supporting students on their path towards success and helping them to maintain a positive life path at school, at home, and in the community.

Stand Up to Bullying

A student task force including Madison Waterhouse, Victoria Quint and Oliver Clay-Storm and other trained students and staff members are working to identify key issues affecting KHS students.

We've also added a form to this website that you use to report bullying. Whether you're a witness to bullying or you're a victim, we encourage you to report it.
